“This is a pleasant place with amazing pastries. It is always too difficult to select. Frequently I take home too many items. Today I will just take home the fabulous Cream Puffs. But first I am enjoying a spinach & feta croissant with mocha cappuccino! Nothing here will disappoint you!!”
— Don Preston“After an early morning appointment I discovered this great bakery with an eye popping array of fresh and delicious baked goods 😍. I enjoyed a delicious turkey and cheese croissant and a vanilla cappuccino. Very, very good! I brought home a loaf of their black pepper Parmesan bread, it was delicious tonight with my soup and a chocolate croissant and an almond croissant. The atmosphere was enjoyable and the service was great. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
— Jamie Birchfield“Gosh, I REALLY want to love this place, but it comes up short in some basic, but important ways. First and foremost, their croissants. This quintessential French pastry is a must for any French bakery, and Bon Appetit's ARE tasty - however, if you want it hot, the only way to have it heated up is in a microwave, which COMPLETELY ruins it! Instead of flaky and tasty, it becomes soggy and bleh. We ordered the ham and cheese croissant while dining in, so they heated it, and I was sorely disappointed. I ordered one to take home, heated it in the toaster oven, and it was absolutely delicious! If you're taking the time to make them, serve them right, in my opinion. The other pastries were as expected for a French bakery, and personally, not my thing, but my family loves them (in general) and enjoyed them here, as well. As for the coffee, it was mediocre, nothing to get excited about, but it WAS served in a mug (versus paper), and I do appreciate that. Last, but certainly not least, was the service. It was quite busy when we went, but were were helped by 3 different waitresses and not one of them was friendly. They were very short, rushed and even when I tried to make a joke to lighten the mood, it was passed over. Overall, I recommend a visit, but I am hoping the owners read my review and consider a toaster oven to make their hot options reflect the deliciousness they deserve.”
— Jessica Wright“We are visiting from North Carolina. The hot ham and cheese croissant was very fresh and yummy! So was the Rum Ball. I have some other desserts I have not tried yet, but they look lovely. They have a great variety of sweets and baked goods. I definitely recommend!”
